Vision 4 Cabins & bathrooms

  • The cabins in Vision 4 Diesel are all the same size and designed for privacy. Each cabin has a bed that can work as a double or two singles.
  • The full standing headroom (6.5 feet/2 meters) will appeal to taller cruisers, and level flooring makes the staterooms feel more like luxurious hotel suites.
  • Each stateroom has modern en-suite bathroom facilities that include sink, state-of-the-art electric-flush toilet, and enclosed shower.

  • Huge top sundeck with steering position, BBQ, bar fridge and collapsible, sun-canopy (bimini)
  • Additional sideways thrusters at front and rear for exceptionally easy manoeuvring and mooring
  • 220v shore power & 220v power while you cruise (high wattage appliances not recommended for use while cruising)
Air cooling and air conditioning

When the temperatures soar, air conditioning can help make your night’s sleep a little more comfortable. Thermostatically controlled to keep the internal temperature up to 10°C below external temperature. 

 

There is a thermostat in the saloon, which collectively controls the temperature in the saloon and frontmost cabin, and a thermostat in the rear cabin which collectively controls the temperature in the three rearmost cabins.

 

Please note: Performance significantly reduces if canal/river temperature is too high.

Restrictions and exceptions

  • Please note that the Vision Series cannot navigate on Lough Allen or the Shannon-Erne Waterway (Ireland), the River Bäise (Aquitaine) or through the tunnels between Etang de Baye & Corbigny (Nivernais).
  • Vision boats can cruise Decize to Migennes through Canal Lateral and Canal De Briare only. Decize to Tannay and vice versa route NOT possible.
  • Please note that the Lot River is not reachable on the Vision Series (Garonne section not navigable).
  • In Holland, our Vision Series are not able to access our Hindeloopen base because of the low bridge.
  • To reach Amsterdam, our Vision Series boats need to cruise via the Nieuwe Herengracht (instead of Oude Schans) and can also not cruise through Utrecht.
  • Please note that a minimum of 3 adults is required on board. 
  • A bimini sunshade is not provided in the Netherlands.

  • Hire of the boat, its facilities and equipment, which includes:
           - Fully equipped kitchen on board
           - Fridge, gas oven, hob, dishes and utensils.
           - Bathroom facilities on board
           - Hot showers, toilets and towels.
           - Sleeping facilities on board
           - Pillows, duvets and bed linen. 
           - Heating.

Great congregate space inside and out, large windows, comfortable beds. Engine worked well. The itinerary was perfect with a blend of pastoral scenes and lovely villages or towns. It allowed for a leisurely cruise place to place including two nights in Chalon-sur-Saône.

The boat was great for our group of 4 couples, 4 state rooms with private bathrooms and ample space on deck and in the main cabin. Unfortunately there was restriction on our travel due to bridge maintenance then we were restricted due to water levels. We also had a mechanical issue with one of the bow thrusters that limited maneuverability but was only a minor inconvenience. Nicely appointed roomy boat that was very comfortable for all 8 of us.

The support and service from the team was excellent. We were a little disappointed that on our first day the boat wasn't ready til 5pm even though we arranged to pick it up at 2pm. We had perishable food with us that was sitting in the heat of the day. One of the maintenance guys saw us all sitting in the sun and went and got us a table umbrella, very thoughtful. The trip was fantastic and extremely comfortable. The boat was extremely big and having a joystick made maneuvering very easy. During the week we had an issue with the boat. The LeBoat team (Jihn Baptiste, Angelique and Caroline) were fantastic. They were very responsive, prompt and helpful. Their follow up during the week was outstanding. We spoke only a little French and they spoke great English. This was our third boat trip but our first with the Le Boat and we can't recommend the Douelle team more highly

The Le Boat staff near Casier in Italy were extremely helpful at the start, during and the end of our hire. In particular Neil went above and beyond to help us with some difficulties with the boat and our onshore accommodation. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time on the River Sile and throughout the Venice lagoon and it's many small islands such as Marzorbo, Murano, Burano and Vignole. We managed all the way down to Chioggia and enjoyed a swim in the Adriatic. Fresh food was fantastic and we enjoyed some of our best meals on the boat. I have sailed on a Vision before so knew exactly what to expect. As said some minor electrical problems quickly sorted. A well equipped boat and easily enough room for 9 of us.
