How to price your boating holiday

Our pricing, made easy!

To make working out the end cost of your holiday easy, we have broken down all the costs you will need to consider into three simple sections.

1. Costs when you book...

Boat cost

The holiday prices shown on this website are for the rental of one boat for the duration specified, regardless of how many people intend to travel. Any applicable offers, unless a specific promotion code is required, are automatically applied.

Other optional costs

We have many optional extras available to help make your vacation more easy, comfortable and fun. You can purchase these when you initially book your holiday, or you can add them on any time afterwards. These can even be purchased when you arrive at the base to begin your cruising holiday. However, we do recommend that you book any extras before you travel, as some extras may not be available at such short notice and the price may increase. If you want to find out more about adding an extra just give us a call and speak to one of our boating experts, who will advise you on what's available and arrange everything. Visit our extras page for more information.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

When you collect your boat at the start of your holiday, you must pay a refundable damage deposit (see below). If you lose or damage your boat your liability is limited to the amount collected. However, you can significantly reduce the amount of deposit required, and thus your liability, by purchasing a non-refundable Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).

Holiday extras

Optional add-ons you can purchase include:

  • Bikes
  • Barbecues & lanterns
  • Deck cushions
  • Groceries
  • Early check-in & late check-out
  • Wi-fi
  • Angling dinghy
  • Stand-up paddle boards
  • And more...

Please note that not all extras are available at all bases.

2. Costs at the base...

When you arrive, our base staff look forward to welcoming you to their cruising region and aim to make your arrival and holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The reception team are also required to take an Engine Hours Deposit and a Collision Damage Deposit from you by way of a credit card.

fenders

You will have to pay a refundable damage deposit at the base before you begin cruising. The deposit will be retained (in part or in full) when you return your boat to cover the boat itself or any of its equipment or inventory that has been damaged or lost. You will not have to pay more than the initial amount collected. Please read our terms and conditions for full details and costs.

Please note: the amount of deposit required, and thus your liability, may be significantly reduced by purchasing a non-refundable Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). See above and optional extras for details.

fuel pump

An engine hours cost covers the fuel you use to power the boats engine as well as onboard systems (such as heating), gas and general engine wear & tear. At your start base, you are required to leave an Engine Hours Deposit in local currency. At the end of your cruise, your engine hour charge will be calculated and you will either be refunded the difference or asked to pay for any excess hours used. See compulsory costs for more details.
