Service was very good. We were seen promptly both on arrival and departure and the explanations were clear and the training sufficient. The written materials and guide book were very clear and helpful. This was a great boat for us as 2 parents with an adult child and his girlfrend as the two bedrooms are separated by the living room. It felt spacious for the 4 of us and had all the basic things we needed.

We had a really good holiday. As you have asked, there were a few niggles! Some of the sink plug didn't fit/work. Water pipe didn't connect at Hodson Bay. Charts were out of date. Water hose pipe kept kinking, old. Perhaps a new flexible type would be better and easier to stow. Shore based ablution on the Shannon were not so hot. Life belt was not attached to the boat, it is now. Some steps/box need to board the boat at some moorings; jetty to boat height a problem. Need some way of securing the deck furniture in 'rough' weather. Running cost of nearly £15.00 per hour seemed a bit steep! On the plus side the shower head was good. Hot water system good. Plenty of space in the boat. Bow thrust very good. Beds comfortable. In al a good holiday though!

A boating holiday is just so relaxing. The stress of work just melts away when you are only doing 4 mph. Le Boat is the best operator we have found, and we have now had 7 boating holidays with them in France and the UK. The Clipper is not the youngest boat in the fleet but nor is it the oldest. It is a very well built boat, coming from a well-known boatyard in Norfolk. It is very comfortably furnished and well laid-out. It has a very sociable aft deck, while access on and off is very simple. It's not high out of the water, unlike some boats, and for access at locks and alongside it is a simple step on and off - very important to consider. It's also a very solid boat and tracks well in the water. Very easy to steer.

Excellent service from pre booking to checking out in Tannay Boat was a clipper, plenty big enough for two couples. Has everything needed in the kitchen apart from, some proper size wine glasses would have been nice and maybe some taller tumblers…… G&T is not good in a three inch glass ! Apart from this, it’s amazing

Overall an excellent experience. Excellent boat with all the amenities that is required. Boat was easy to handle even without side thrusters. It would have been nice if we were told that the boat had a heating system at the start of our voyage.
