The Carcassonne Festival has been running for over 10 years and has quickly established it’s self as one of the biggest festivals in France. The festival brings dance, theatre, circus, music and art to the heart of the medieval city, Carcassonne - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next month, more than 120 concerts and shows will be offered in several prestigious places across the fortified city. Previous years have seen famous international artists perform including the like of Elton John, Lana Del Rey, Status Quo, Marilyn Manson, Alice Cooper, David Guetta, Smashing Pumpkins, Artic Monkeys, Ben Harper, The Beach Boys and John Newman.
