Three to four hours from Gray, after passing through the tunnel of Savoyeux, this is your first opportunity to explore a village and re-stock the boat.
The Port is a marina, alwxays full of interesting boats. In the village there is a saboterie where a local artisan makes wooden clogs in the traditional Franche-ComtÚ style.

Sadly the popular restaurant"Chez Berthe" burned down in 2007. Plans are being made to rebuild it, possibly in 2008.

The Port de Savoyeux, operated by Sa˘ne Plaisance. ( A small charge). Alternatively it is possible to moor up on the canal bank opposite the port.
