Why do we recommend stopping here?

Port la Nouvelle is one of the biggest commercial ports in the Mediterranean and offers fairly convenient access to the beach, which is approximately 2 kms from the moorings. There's also a municipal swimming pool here and a casino - should you fancy a flutter!

What is there to see?

Talk a stroll along the canal, explore the port or take part in the organised activities during the peak summer period.

Is this place famous for anything?

At the Domaine de Jugnes, Monsieur Fabre, the producer, discovered the skeleton of a whale on the boeach and has recreated it in his caves. You can visit by appointment - Tel: 04 68 48 00 39

When the fishermen return there is often the opportunity to purchase fresh fish for a scrumptious evening meal on board.
