Barry Brant welcomes you to Benson. Nestled in the banks of the Thames, which snakes its way through the lush green countryside of England, the village of Benson is in the heart of a tourist area, which combines heritage and history. Follow the “Kings Highway”, the famous “Thames” and discover the varied landscape of meadows and hills, the small flower bedecked towns and their cottages of genuine Old England, creating an atmosphere of timeless charm.
PRE-ARRANGE YOUR TAXI TRANSFER Le Boat will be happy to arrange transfers from your arrival point to the base. Please
download a taxi transfer form here and send it to the base at least 14 days prior to departure. The base receptionist will contact you directly to confirm details of your transfer.
PROVISIONINGProvisioning list is not available online - There is a Supermarket for all your provisioning needs located in Benson village a short distance away from the base.
BASE FACILITIESOur base offers toilets, showers, a restaurant, bar and a laundry.

Opening hours: From 9.00am to 5.00pm.
There are restaurants, shops and a greengrocer all nearby. There is no bank at Benson but there is a cash back facility at the supermarket.

Friday – 8.00am to 8.00pm
Saturday – 9.00 to 6.00pm
Sunday – 9.00am to 5.00pm

FISHING
Fishing is allowed but the close season is between 17th March – 16th June. A Fishing Licence is required and is available from any main or sub post office, it is recommended that you obtain your licence before you leave home. Cost is approximately £6.50 for a licence covering 8 days (children under 12 do not require a licence).
